A Generation on Fire: Everyone Thailand
Over the weekend, something powerful unfolded in Bangkok. At Everyone Thailand, believers from different churches, backgrounds and nations gathered not just for an event but for a shared calling. It felt less like a programme and more like a movement in motion.
From the very beginning, there was a clear sense of unity. Different denominations stood side by side, not focused on differences but aligned in one mission. The Great Commission was not just preached, it was carried in conversations, in prayers, in worship and in the way people showed up for one another. Leaders and evangelists from different parts of the world came to encourage and speak life into the Thai church, reminding everyone that what God is doing in Thailand matters and it is only just beginning.
A significant part of the weekend centred on NextGen. You could see it everywhere. Young people were not passive attendees. They were engaged, expectant and hungry. There was a fire in them that felt genuine. Not hype, not just a moment but something deeper taking root. It was clear that the baton is being passed and the next generation is ready to run with it.
Worship became one of the strongest expressions of that unity. Local and international voices came together, led by bands like W501 and Planetshakers. There was something special about seeing a local Thai worship team lead with such conviction, reminding everyone that revival is not imported, it is already here, growing from within.
When Planetshakers took the stage, the room shifted into a mix of nostalgia and fresh passion. Songs like Nothing Is Impossible brought many back to the early days of youth camps and worship nights, while their newer songs carried the same heartbeat into the present. It was a reminder that while seasons change, the message remains the same. Faith is still alive and God is still moving.
But beyond the music and the moments, there was a deeper message woven throughout the weekend. This was about the Church in Thailand stepping into unity. Not as separate organisations but as one body. Not just gathering but going.
Editors Note:
As I reflect on the weekend, it is hard to ignore what feels so evident. God is at work in Thailand. You can sense it in the people, in the hunger and in the openness. It brings to mind the words of Jesus that the harvest is plentiful. And here, it truly feels that way.
There is also a weight to it. A sense that this is not something to simply observe but something to respond to. Like a fire that is meant to spread, not stay contained. The presence of God felt like a consuming fire, not to overwhelm but to refine, to awaken and to send.
Maybe that is the invitation for all of us. Not just to attend moments like this but to carry them into everyday life. To live out the Great Commission in our own spaces. To share the hope of Jesus not only in words but in how we love, serve and show up.
If this weekend showed us anything, it is that we are not alone in this. There is a generation rising. There is a Church awakening. And there is a nation being stirred.
The question now is simple.
What will we do with it?
